HiQuin 4% is a dermatological cream containing 4% hydroquinone, a benchmark depigmenting active ingredient studied for many years in the treatment of hyperpigmentation, particularly melasma. Hydroquinone works primarily by inhibiting tyrosinase, an enzyme involved in the production of melanin. The excessive production of pigment gradually decreases, which helps to lighten darker areas.
