🧴 The 3 Products of the Protocol & Their Roles

🟠 No. 1 — Babyface “Astringent” — Astringent Lotion with Melawhite (60 ml)

What is it for? This is the first step of the protocol. This astringent lotion deeply cleanses, tightens pores, and prepares the skin to better absorb the subsequent depigmenting treatments. Its formula with Melawhite begins working on melanin production from this first step.

• Melawhite: a gentle depigmenting active that inhibits tyrosinase (the enzyme responsible for melanin production)
• Astringent agents: tighten pores and balance sebum
• Soothing agents: prepare the skin without irritation

💊 Dosage No. 1:

1. Cleanse the face with a mild cleanser, rinse, and dry
2. Pour a few drops onto a cotton pad
3. Gently dab over the entire face, focusing on areas to be treated
4. Let dry completely (1–2 minutes) before applying the next product
5. Use morning and evening

🟠 No. 2 — Babyface Solution 2 — Anti-Acne & Depigmenting Agent (60 ml)

What is it for? This is the main treatment step. Solution 2 combines Hydroquinone and Tretinoin to directly target dark spots, post-acne marks, melasma, and hyperpigmentation. It also accelerates cell turnover thanks to Tretinoin.

• Hydroquinone: the gold-standard dermatological active for lightening dark spots. Potently inhibits melanin production
• Tretinoin: a Vitamin A derivative (retinoid). Accelerates cell turnover, exfoliates deeply, and increases Hydroquinone penetration

💊 Dosage No. 2:

1. After No. 1 is perfectly dry, apply a thin layer of Solution 2
2. Apply only to the areas to be treated (spots, marks) or to the entire face according to prescription
3. Start gradually: 3 evenings/week for the first 2 weeks, then increase if well-tolerated
4. Do not use in the morning (reserve for evening only)
5. Leave on all night without rinsing

🟠 RX3 — Babyface Solution RX3 — Intensive Anti-Acne & Depigmenting Agent (60 ml)

What is it for? Solution RX3 is the intensified version of the protocol. It contains a higher concentration of actives for cases of resistant hyperpigmentation, deep melasma, or stubborn dark spots. It is used in rotation or as a replacement for No. 2 for cases requiring more powerful action.

• Hydroquinone (reinforced concentration): intensified depigmenting action
• Tretinoin (reinforced concentration): accelerated deep cellular exfoliation

💊 Dosage RX3:

1. Reserve for evening only
2. Apply after No. 1 is thoroughly dry, in a thin layer to targeted areas
3. Do not use every evening at first: start with 2–3 applications per week
4. Monitor skin reaction (redness, slight peeling = normal and a sign the product is working)
5. In case of strong irritation, reduce frequency of use

⚠️ SPF 50 mandatory in the morning: Tretinoin and Hydroquinone make the skin very sensitive to the sun. Without sun protection, spots can worsen and sunburn can occur.
